I'd still like that to be a thing again.<br /><br />It's weird how when everyone migrated to Tumblr, it took me a good while to get the hang of reblog culture. I think it's very cool in its own way - I love how it creates a shared culture across the site - but it can't be denied that it's limited. It's a fanfare, not a round-table.<br /><br />On LJ you made a blog, joined a community, engaged with that community, and made friends. Discord is the worst possible substitute because it's like a firehose when you're looking for a water fountain.<br /><br />I suppose DW can't be an alternative unless people use it, so here goes again.
